Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Part 2 delves into the relationship between Rorschach and Nite Owl before the anti-hero Keene Act. It is now June 1977, and at any moment the Keene Act will outlaw all masked vigilantes not authorized by the government. Rorschach contacts Nighthawk to help him solve the case of a missing girl, Violet Greene. Their search takes them into the city’s most depraved and sordid corners and ultimately to a face-to-face confrontation with the mysterious Lady of Twilight.
