Description and contents
Simon Ordell has to return to the island of St. Amelia to “set things right,” but what he finds is a silent town shrouded in thick fog. It seems abandoned, but it is anything but peaceful.
Simon ventures into the town to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, but fragments of his past begin to surface.
In this fully first-person adventure, Simon must explore, evade, and survive with a meager arsenal of weapons and tools, such as the CRTV, a pocket television that allows him to tune into unstable signals. The chases are tense; the combat, frantic; and the narrative puzzles reveal a truth that refuses to remain hidden.
SILENT HILL: Townfall is a complete, self-contained psychological horror game set in a frigid, isolated corner of Scotland in 1996.
Explore St. Amelia in 1996 Fog-shrouded streets, abandoned communities, and forgotten corners tell their story through the atmosphere and their past. Reality and delirium intertwine to draw players into the depths of the realistic and tangible world of St. Amelia.
A New and Memorable SILENT HILL SILENT HILL: Townfall recreates the beautiful, mist-shrouded streets of Scotland to tell a unique and captivating story in a new setting. More than just a horror game, this is a story of introspection, loss, and consequences. Fear is generated through small details, moments of calm, and the long shadow of Simon’s past.
Strategic Combat and Stealth Strike and block in frantic melee combat, or keep your distance and use firearms to survive.
Choose how to approach each fight by using both the tools at your disposal and the environment around you.
In addition to fighting or fleeing, you can use stealth to slip past danger, take cover to monitor the enemy’s position, or use distractions to lure them away from you.
Narrative Puzzles via CRTV SILENT HILL’s iconic radio returns in the form of CRTV, a portable television.
Imminent threats, fragments of history, mysterious clues… All of this can be found in the unstable analog signals that players can tune into with the CRTV.
Through narrative puzzles linked to these fragments, players can relive past events and glimpse what daily life was like in the town, allowing them to follow the story.
A First-Person SILENT HILL Experience In this game—the first full SILENT HILL title with a first-person perspective—players will venture into this fog-shrouded town directly through Simon’s eyes.
With limited visibility and a heightened sense of being close to danger, all game mechanics feel more intimate, immediate, and terrifying—whether it’s stealth, combat, exploration, or the CRTV.
Multiple Endings The endings are determined by the player’s actions and leave a lasting emotional impact even long after the story has ended.
Music and Sound Design to Build Tension Every creak, every sound, and every scream signals danger. The sound design is highly creative and succeeds in creating a soundscape that is as rich as it is terrifying.
The soundtrack, composed by Pilotpriest, is completely dynamic and adapts to the actions of the player and the enemies. It is highly responsive and manages to both build and release tension depending on the progression of the action and stealth.
