RoboCop: Rogue City

RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooter set between the events of the movies RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. Anne Lewis returns as RoboCop's partner and is always by your side as you play, becoming a helpful sidekick.

A new criminal has emerged to threaten the city’s peace, and not only is the press buzzing about him—calling him “The New Guy in Town”—but so are all the existing gangs. RoboCop must restore peace during a raid on an apartment complex, featuring numerous shootouts, many emerging villains, and even a few hostage situations to resolve. Of course, the main attraction is your character—half-man, half-machine (and 100 percent law-abiding)—who is armed with his Auto-9 and steel armor that makes enemy bullets bounce off.

The action takes place right where the news is happening, with the main villain’s introduction interrupted by a gang of thugs who storm the venue, take hostages, and wait for the police—that is, RoboCop and his partner Anne Lewis—to arrive and restore order. RoboCop’s bulk makes him move slowly, practically like a tank. But this isn’t a problem. The villains can swarm RoboCop, but they can’t do much to him, so it’s often fun to keep advancing until they turn around and flee—or, as they say, feel your wrath! In addition to hunting down bad guys and gang members, you also have to investigate crimes, snoop around crime scenes to find clues, and arrest criminals who look suspicious.
