Description and contents
With a blend of action, horror, and survival, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Fan-favorite characters from the Resident Evil series—such as Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong—join forces with new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror: the highly virulent C-virus, as the story shifts from North America to the war-torn Eastern European nation of Edonia and on to the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
Beginning with four distinct yet intertwined storylines, each featuring a pair of protagonists to play as—either solo or in co-op mode, both locally and online—Resident Evil 6 not only offers different perspectives and playstyles but also introduces the innovative Crossover mechanic, which allows players to team up and share the horror. At key moments in the game, up to 4 players can team up online to tackle a specific situation, with partner swaps in certain areas to add depth to the gameplay.
