Here’s the deal: you’re Neil Conrad, a CDI agent. Woken by news of a murder, you dive headfirst into a case that will soon turn your life—and the entire solar system—upside down. Ask questions, gather evidence, and piece things together until the horrifying truth is revealed… or not. There’s no turning back—the story branches out and ends based on your actions. There’s no turning back. Of course, you can rush to the end—if you don’t mind paying the price. If you play your cards right, you might just make it out alive. How far will you go? Some questions don’t have a right answer. Will you betray a friend to protect your family? Will you endanger a loved one in exchange for public safety? Will you keep the peace or reveal the horrific truth that destroys the world? Are you hungry for point-and-click adventures? While the classics were great in their day, Lacuna shakes off the baggage of many adventure game tropes: Point-and-click platform movement controls (WASD / controller). Selecting all dialogue options one by one, no matter what. Non-repetitive conversations and choices. Inventory management and counterintuitive puzzles. Immersive, story-driven mysteries. Pixel hunting. Optional outlines on any interactive object. The story pauses at every puzzle—you can always push forward. “X will remember this.” Real choices and multiple endings.
